Nauta description: The Nauta have a natural affinity for the water and related pursuits; exploring, sailing, fishing. They are excellent traders, and have a reputation for being trustworthy and shady in equal measure. Superb swimmers, the Nauta tend to be powerfully muscled, and on rare occasions children are born with webbed fingers or toes. They tend to seek out water subconsciously, and seem sickly and ill at ease when kept away from it for any length of time. Their skin, eyes, and hair have watery hues, ranging from the grey of a stormy sea to the iridescent blue of the calm ocean.
