Desero

Desero description: The Desero have the appearance of any race who spends their lives on burning sands. Naturally inclined towards the rogue's ways, it is also usual for them to play a 'jack of all trades' role. Most are heavily into mysticism and belief in the power of nature, especially earth and fire. They are accustomed to the harsh conditions of the desert, so they handle heat with little effort. However, they show great discomfort at being exposed to colder climes, and very quickly become unable to function to any great extent. They have an inbred fear of water that is any deeper than their chest-high desert springs, and most would refuse to board even a shallow-water boat.
